What is MineHash?

MineHash is the next generation of Minecraft Servers with an emphasis on faction survival and farming. On MineHash every player has the opportunity to turn the time they spend on our server into real world currency. A large portion of MineHash profits go right back into growth of the token which translates to more money for the players earning MineHash tokens in-game. Every time a player trades in-game currency for MineHash Tokens at the Spawn Shop the value of the MineHash pool increases which increases the value of in-game currency for the players as well as the value of their MineHash Tokens.

​How do you earn MineHash (MHT)?

 MineHash Tokens can be received through the Spawn Shop portal at spawn or by using the command /warp shop. MineHash tokens can only be purchased with in-game currency through the Spawn Shop. In-game currency can only be obtained through selling items at the Bandit Shop in the center of Bandit Town or at the Spawn Shop. The exchange rate at the Spawn Shop will change periodically based market conditions but we try to keep consistent pricing at all shops to increase the value of MineHash tokens over time for players.
Important Notice: The value of MineHash Tokens is pegged to Solana (SOL). This means its price will rise and fall directly with SOL's market price. Like all cryptocurrencies, its value is also affected by speculative trading and can be highly volatile. Please understand that the real-world value of your tokens is not guaranteed and can decrease as well as increase at any time.

​What Is Bandit Town?

​Bandit Town is a post apocalyptic town directly outside of the safezone at Spawn. Bandit Town is one of the most dangerous locations on the server with a high density of mob spawners throughout the town along with opportunistic players and factions looking to steal your loot. The reason Bandit Town is such a popular destination for all players is due to the benefits offered at the Bandit Shop in the center of Bandit Town. If a player can survive and make it to the safety of  Bandit Shop at the center of Bandit Town they will have access to premium shops to sell their loot. Bandit Shop has 50% better pricing than that offered at the Spawn Shop. Players who don't want to risk navigating Bandit Town can sell their loot at the safety of the Spawn Shop instead.

Bandit Town can be accessed with the command /warp bandittown, by walking outside the spawn safezone and following the signs to Bandit Town, or by walking through the Bandit Town portal in the Portal Room at Spawn. Be aware that once you leave the portal safezone perimeter pvp will be enabled and any loot in your inventory will be at risk from hostile players in the vicinity. Once a player enters the Bandit Shop perimeter at the center of Bandit Town they will protected by its safezone. 

​How Lucrative is Farming On MineHash?

​Farming is by far the best long term strategy for virtually unlimited gains within the MineHash economy. The only limit to how large of a farm you can create is the world generation limit. This enables solos and factions to have equal opportunity to produce a surplus of crops to sell across the MineHash market. Players still need to be cautious how exposed their farms are, especially if those farms produce a significant amount of crops that can be sold for a premium. The most lucrative farms will naturally be the largest targets for other factions or solo players looking for raid targets.

We recommend that new solo players create a faction even if they don't intend on having any members other than themselves so that they can claim their farm land in the wilderness. Otherwise another player in a faction could come along and claim over their farm and take control of their crops. That or consider building a subterranean farm to hide your farming from potential raiders in your area.
